Quote of the Day
Joss Wheddon responding to the announcement of a remake of Buffy:
"Whit Stillman AND Wes Anderson? This is gonna be the most sardonically adorable movie EVER." Apparently I was misinformed. Then I thought, "I'll make a mint! This is worth more than all my Toy Story residuals combined!" Apparently I am seldom informed of anything. And possibly a little slow. But seriously, are vampires even popular any more?I love both of those directors and the fact that Joss' mind went there. Even though neither one is actually part of the project. Some gal named Whit Anderson is. #ugh

A Striking Difference
Mark McKinnon writes:
There are many things that you can point to about Bush and find lacking, but his sense of responsibility as a leader is not one of them.
The book does highlight, however, a fundamental difference between George Bush and Barack Obama. Bush never complains. He never blames others. He takes full responsibility for his campaigns, his administration, his life. He accepts the cards he's dealt. That's the George Bush I know.
There are many things that you can point to about Bush and find lacking, but his sense of responsibility as a leader is not one of them.
