Highlights Of The Lost Weekend In NYC

- seeing most of the people in the NYC vicinity i enjoy reading, although not all were there (ahem, ahem, ahem)
- oreos at three am
- international market
- watching (the much anticipated by me) Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou twice and liking it much more the second time (either Wes Anderson is one creative/funny mother fucker or drinking lots of wine makes any movie experience twice as good). Favorite line: "Out here we call them pirates."
- sitting down for a chat with Esther and writersbloc, um who knew we were neighbors here and in the mother country (aswell)?!
- the yummiest Mexican food ever
- catching the birthday girl for a second
- drinking real Nana tea (and not just out of a bag)
- trying to get down with Candy Girl and failing miserably (next time i'll be showing some hip movements)
- discovering Room 18, didn't eat there but the atmosphere is worth the try
- learning about/discussing "three types of people" from Ken, Ace, and Karol
- doing a little bit of bitching about blogging
- meeting Ginger (and her very cute "friend")
- (o also forgot to mention) How awesome it was to chat it up with Yaron (and drink poorly made shots) for not one night but two!)
- seeing Mike's new do
- listening to incredible music surrounded by people who know their shit (Jessica i'll be pestering you for the CD)
- giving love advice (with a somewhat happy ending)
- quoting Napoleon Dynamite
- becoming Lisa's boyfriend (she's such a whore, first Ari then me, damn that girls gets around!)
- not going to work for three whole fucking days
- giving directions in NYC (correctly)
- light snow on a deserted New York street at 3 am in the morning
- listening to Jessica softly hum and play the guitar
