I Am A Blogger
Last night re-affirmed my belief in alcohol and in little black dresses. Met some people i've been happy to meet before and some new people (damn you people who don't have blogs) as well. I met a man named Joshua Caleb - supposedly two characters, Joshua and Caleb, in the Torah that were the only scouts that believed Jerusalem could be conquered by the Jews led by Moses. The fact that this guys name is Joshua Caleb was pure coincidence on the part of his parents - you learn something new everyday. Some tv/film talk was had (please rent The Aristocrats, don't see it in the theatre) , some ideas about new blogs was tossed around, Eliott Smith murder/sucide debate were explored, and i even got some NYC history in the mix. Overall a great evening although one that should have ended with a taxi and not with the metro and me cursing at being a girl and wearing high heels. Damn social constructs!
