Mooooooovies!

* I bought tickets to see Sarah Silverman and her film Jesus is Magic at the Coolidge Corner Theater on Nov 3rd. Yay.

* I also got tickets to see my favorite fallen angel and disheveled detective Columbo Peter Falk (you know the guy draws/paints for a hobby?) in Checking Out. I don't know how good the movie will be but i'll get to meet Peter Falk! (Seriously, the only other celebrity i would be as excited about would be Christopher Walken. We here at Petitedov are not big on celebrities.)

* Both films are part of the Boston Jewish Film Festival. (Almost interned there. )

* Murph has an excellent review of Good Night and Good Luck and he also has some disturbing news about Rocky....time to bring back my favorite clip. I hope they are not serious.

*The legendary Brattle Theater in Harvard Square is facing an uphill battle of raising $400,000 by the end of the year or it might close its doors for good. This cannot happen. However, could the management have warned us about this earlier?

* I really need to go see a movie in a theater ASAP.
