Birthflowers/Birthstones

I never knew there were birthflowers, although i always knew there were birthstones. I don't even think i ever saw my birthflower before this link. But i would prefer lily of the valley over the sweet pea. My birthstone is the most expensive one out of the twelve, i rarely get gifts with it, but when i do i usually lose it. (I'm still mourning a diamond ring i lost last fall, given to me on my sixteenth birthday. Sigh.)
