Ikea is hell disguised (or designed) as heaven.
Update:
Here are some of the reason why I don't really like going to Ikea:
1. It's huge and the size and selection makes it overwhelming to choose what you want.
2. I hate shopping so the fact that there is so much stuff to look at and see makes the experience that much longer, especially since my shopping partner likes to change her mind frequently and walk slow.
3. A lot of Ikea stuff looks good in the Ikea store, it looks like a place where I would want to spend some evenings in reading a good Swedish book (why are all their fake books in Swedish!?!). However on closer inspection you realize the stuff is rather made cheaply and the supposedly cheap prices don't make up for the piece of crap desk falling apart in 2 years. It's the fakeness of value I guess.
4. Did I mention that it was HUGE.
5. Ikea entices you to buy stuff for .99 or $2 and then you come home spending $50 on crap you really don't need.
6. We were there kind of late and no one was willing to help us.
I got to say there food ain't bad, but this time I couldn't get anything to eat.
