Watching "No Reservations - Montana" last night I was introduced to the work (and the painter himself)of Russell Chatham. Some of the paintings (especially the ones featured in the episode) had incredible light about them, they almost seemed to burn. Poking around the internet I only found one that stuck me as the others on the screen:
Russell Chatham “The Seasons: August” (1993)
What can I say, I'm a sucker for golden, brownish hues. It's a weakness, which I am happy to embrace.
