It's not only alas! Just re-watched the old Sabrina. Billy Wilder was a genius - to make a movie so funny and serious at the same time. This time around I found Sabrina herself, utterly annoying. How could she fall for Linus, I find that the modern take does a better job of convincing us of Linus' and Sabrina's love for each other.
