Disturbing
Ace links to Mark Steyn article about the rising anti-Semitism in France and European's media lack of interest in the subject. Right after 9/11 happened i entered college, i remember hearing there were anti-Semitic incidents on the rise in Europe (specif. France). I asked a Jewish girl from Paris if she felt scared in France. She said that although she felt relatively safe, she hid her Star of David because people tended to make snide remarks upon noticing it. It struck me how in America i would never consider hidingany sign that i was Jewish and if i ever had to do that it would be an immediate red flag of something being horribly wrong.
