What I Learned About Vince Vaughn

I tend to stay away from celebrity interviews, especially profile pieces on actors. They are basically all the same, fawning over the subject matter and trying to desperately make them seem relevant, deep, and unique. Not this dude, it seems Chris Jones, the author of this light hit piece, has an axe to grind with the star of Wedding Crashers and Old School. Supposedly Vince Vaughn is fat, loud, a liar, politically ambiguous (a Hollywood code word for not being liberal enough), and is desperate to be loved. Jones almost makes me feel sad for Vaughn, but ultimately fails to make Vaughn seem pathetic. Being smart, funny, and successful usually doesn't leave others to pity you, although despising someone like that seems quite easy.
via Defamer, who goofs on how many time the article points out Vaughn's girth and appetite.
