Personal Doesn't Need To Be Political

Kevin Spacey on why he doesn't talk about his rumored homosexuality:
Look, at the end of the day people have to respect people's differences. I am different than some people would like me to be. I just don't buy into that the personal can be political. I just think that's horseshit. No one's personal life is in the public interest. It's gossip, bottom line. End of story...
I don't see it the duty of every gay person to proclaim their orientation. I really do see it as a private matter, and honestly I could give a flying fuck if someone, especially a famous person, was gay or straight.
